Canne Spod Discover Spod & Marker Rods

The Discover Spod & Marker Rod range has been designed to offer unrivalled performance and the finish on this rod gives it a look better than fishing rods way above its price point. These rods are an ideal starting point for any angler who wants to get setup to start their carp fishing adventure! These spod rods feature a twin material construction with a composite butt and a lightweight carbon tip section, this allows the price to be kept to a minimum but the action and feel of the rod to be like those of much higher price tags. The action of this rod means there is plenty of flexibility in the tip section to feel and drag a lead around when using a marker, but has enough power in the butt section to cast large spods at distance. These Discover rods all feature abbreviated handles and grips. The 10ft model has a 40mm butt guide and  for the longer 12ft, a 50mm butt guide is fitted to maximize casting range. The Discover Carp rods also feature a DPS style reel seat which will comfortably hold even the largest big pit fishing reel to suit your angling requirements. A flared rear grip is a great feature to aid with holding the rod during long casts and aids control and accuracy during the cast. Lightweight LS ceramic rings have been used throughout the fishing rod, making the rod lightweight but also reduce friction on your fishing line when casting allowing you to cast further! The spod & marker rod features two 1ft equally spaced indicators on the blank to aid when accurately marking out the water in front of you. All the Discover rods come supplied in a cloth rod bag for transport and storage.
