Sonik Xtractor+ Abbreviated Spod Rod, Sonik Xtractor+ Abbreviated Carp Rod. The previous Xtractor carp rod was one of Sonik's longest serving and most successful rod ranges ever and for a good reason. The previous range set new standards in terms of performance, quality, reliability and value for money, demonstrating perfectly their carbon engineering prowess. So, it is with great pleasure that we introduce the new Xtractor+ range. What's changed? Well, quite a lot! They've now been able to incorporate high modulus C6 carbon into all the Xractor+ blanks, making them even lighter and more responsive. The new RAW carbon finish is super tough and gives a glimpse into the internal construction of the blank. Built using super-light M Series DL black guides, a deluxe matt black DPS reel seat and an Abbreviated handle with a subtle slim flared grip. The range covers compact rod lengths extending to 6ft, 9ft, 10ft, and dedicated 9ft and 10ft spod rods. Test curves covered are from 2.75lb through to 4.5lb, depending on length of rod. Xtractor+ once again sets a new standard in compact carp rods! This super sleek abbreviated handle range is exclusive to Angling Direct and contains a number of completely new models to choose from. We’ve added a 3.5lb model in the ultra compact 6ft length. There is now an even more powerful 10ft 3.75lb model and this is the first Xtractor+ rod to feature a 50mm ringing pattern. We have also added a 50mm ringing pattern to the powerful 10ft 4.5lb spod rod to ensure maximum versatility and casting performance.
